The Role:
As a Project Accountant, you will play a key role in the financial management of multiple property development projects. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide financial insights, ensure accurate reporting, and support project teams with budgeting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Prepare monthly project reports, variance analysis, and cash flow projections.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and external stakeholders to track costs and financial progress.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in financial modelling and feasibility studies for new developments.
- Support the finance team with end-of-month reporting and reconciliations.
- CPA/CA qualified or working towards completion.
- Experience in project accounting, ideally within property development, construction, or a related industry.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
